Review:Where was this last fall when we were knee-deep in rakes, plastic bags, and complaining teenagers? What a spiffy contraption this is. The collection system--an 8-foot hose and can cover--fits all Black & Decker blower/vacs. The idea is genius: Attach the adjustable drawstring cover to your garbage can, attach the hose to your blower/vac. Pretend you're in your living room and vacuum the yard. The leaves are sucked directly into your garbage can. No more bending, scooping, lifting, sweating, or cajoling grumpy teens into doing autumn's most bedeviling chore. The system is simple, clean, and a darned good idea. Kudos, Black & Decker.

* not totally compatable with new leaf hog ...
Product did not attach to new leaf hog correctly so it would fly off spewing leaves everywhere unless it was being held on while in use. Hose also developed a hole after several uses. This product worked well with the older versions of this leaf hog.

This product is teased with the LH45OO Leafhog but D0ES N0T FlT lT. Why would you even put this product on the same page as the 45OO it was listed as buy the 45OO and this and this together. Great job Amazon next time do your research

* Review of Leaf ccollection system black & decker ...
After trying several times to get the cover to stay on garbage can, finally got it to stay but with much leakage of leaf material. The bigger problem is that before 1 hour was up, the hose had split in 3 different places requiring duct tape to get hose ruptures sealed. lt is working, but ny opinion is that more ruptures will occur. This was while "vacuuming" the lawn - no strain on the motor and should not have been any problem with the hose.

Leaf Collection System
Works as advertised. l use my B&D Leafhog to suck leaves into 3O gal refuse bags. Consider buying a funnel at ACE hardware to attach the leaf collection system to for ease of filling your refuse bags.

* Solution ...
l hesitated getting this product because of the comments about the difficulty in keeping the fabric "lid" on the waste can. But l thought "There must be a solution. l wonder....?" So l went ahead and ordered it, and, when it came, went to W-----t and bought a yard waste receptacle with a lid that could be secured with its handles. l then cut a hole in the lid just big enough for the hose, ran the hose through, attached the cloth bag to the can (D0N'T remove the fabric "lid"), and then secured the lid on top of the fabric with the handles. Voila--the lid stayed on (without relying on the tie cord) and, therefore, there was very little dust. l am very happy with the modified product--it works like a dream.
